The Resurrection

The author George Orwell once noted that 'sometimes the first duty of intelligent men is the restatement of the obvious'.  The apostle Paul does this as he writes to the Corinthian church: I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. (1 Corinthians 15: 3-4)

The Bible tells us that this one transcedent truth should define our lives: Christ died for our sins. What do you think?
